Usually arguments in tennis ensue after a point's finished but this time it occurred before the point even began.<\/p>\n

The incident happened midway through the second set, when Sakkari hit a ball into the crowd in frustration after serving a fault. <\/p>\n

She raised her hand to apologise but her opponent was having none of it.<\/p>\n

So much so, Collins protested from the other side of the net to the chair umpire.<\/p>\n

"Did you just see that? Did you see what happened?" she asked.<\/p>\n

Sakkari jumped in to defend herself saying:\ufeff "It didn't even hit anyone. I was on the ground".<\/p>\n

"Shut your mouth. Shut your mouth," Collins fired back.<\/p>\n

Sakkari:\ufeff"What is your problem? I didn't hit anyone. I framed the ball and it-" she responded.<\/p>\n

"You hit the ball into the stands, Maria. You almost hit someone," Collins fired again.<\/p>\n

"I didn't hit anyone! What is your problem? I framed the ball," said Sakkari.<\/p>\n

The umpire had to calm the players down before the world No.8 continued her dominance to score the win.\ufeff<\/p>\n
