The Matildas last met France\ufeff on Bastille Day, a week before the tournament began.<\/p>\n

The French qualified for the quarter finals with a dominant 4-0 victory over Morocco<\/a> on Tuesday. With a draw and two wins in the group stage, France topped group F with seven points.<\/p>\n

Australia advanced to the quarter finals after \ufeffgoals to Caitlin Foord and Hayley Raso shot the Matildas to a 2-0 victory over Denmark<\/a> on Monday night.<\/p>\n

If the Matildas can overcome world No.5 France, they will play the winner of England and Colombia's quarter final for a place in the World Cup final on Sunday, August 20.<\/p>\n
