One of golf<\/a>'s biggest personalities, Bryson DeChambeau<\/a>, has been hailed for an incredible feat at the LIV Golf<\/a> Greenbrier title.<\/p>\n

DeChambeau managed to hit 58 in the final \ufeffround to take victory and bring about a wild reaction.<\/p>\n

When told he was only the second person in the history of men's professional golf to hit a 58, DeChambeau was full of emotion. <\/p>\n

"Where do I even begin?," he asked.<\/p>\n

"I pretty much felt like I blacked out after I made that putt so I don't even know what's kind of going on.<\/p>\n

"It's beyond words, I've been working so hard for a long time and I knew something special was going to come along at some point, I just didn't know when."\ufeff<\/p>\n

\ufeffDeChambeau went on to give an insight into his conversation after the final round.<\/p>\n

"G Bo (caddie Greg Bodine) was able to keep my head calm, when I started to get a little nervous he just kept it fun and light and we just had a great time out there," he said.<\/p>\n

"I made the putt on the 18th and he goes 'what'd you shoot?'.<\/p>\n

"I was like '58', (he said) '58, what?'.<\/p>\n

"So he didn't even really know\ufeff, it was a quite funny exchange afterwards.<\/p>\n

"But it's probably the greatest moment in my golf career."\ufeff<\/p>\n

The 29-year-old finished on 23-under 187 for the 54-hole event at the resort in White Sulfur Springs, West Virginia which was sealed a six-stroke victory over Chile's Mito Pereira.<\/p>\n

It also was DeChambeau's first win since his father, Jon DeChambeau, died last November at 63 after years of battling kidney disease.<\/p>\n

"I know he's watching, I know he's proud, I know he's smiling up there," he said. <\/p>\n

"I really wasn't thinking too much (about it), I had a job to do but afterwards when I made that putt and sat over there on the side I thought man I wish my dad could've been here but I know he was watching it. <\/p>\n

"It was really cool to have this moment but it really wasn't about being in that moment it was more of, he's given his whole life for me, my dad gave everything to have me be the best I possibly could be and there's a reason why all this happened and I understand it now."<\/p>\n
