\ufeffMatildas<\/a> coach Tony Gustavsson has called on media organisations to "respect" his side after a helicopter was caught spying on a training session in Sydney on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Gustavsson noticed the chopper flying above the stadium as he put his players through their paces ahead of Monday's knockout World Cup<\/a> clash against Denmark.<\/p>\n

While the 49-year-old admitted it was a good thing that interest in the make-up of his team was at the level it is ahead of the Denmark clash, he called on the organisation behind the helicopter to not release footage from his training session.<\/p>\n

"\ufeffIt does say a lot about the interest in the team and what's happening at the country," he said.<\/p>\n

\"SYDNEY,<\/p>\n

"Obviously as a coach, when you're standing their in training and (you look up and see the helicopter) you're (thinking), 'OK, what pictures are they taking now? Are things going to leak? How is this going to influence us?'.<\/p>\n

"At the same time, you need to respect that people are trying to be creative and get insights and want to follow the team in every sense they can.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

"I also hope that the people that potentially captured something show the respect to the team and to the fans, because I think our fans probably don't want to have anything revealed that could hurt our performance tomorrow.<\/p>\n

"Whoever captured that I hope respects our will and the fans' will in that sense."<\/p>\n

Injured skipper Sam Kerr<\/a> was off her feet on Sunday after training on Saturday, but Gustavsson revealed that it was a pre-planned rest.\ufeff<\/p>\n

\"SYDNEY,<\/p>\n

"We had a nice moment as a team yesterday\ufeff to see her back with the boots on, touching the ball and being with the team in training," he said.<\/p>\n

"It was a very good feeling for her, a very good feeling for her teammates, and a very good feeling for me.<\/p>\n

"Today she was off-feet, it's all an individual plan for her in training. I trust my team 100 per cent to prepare her in the best way possible.<\/p>\n

"She's one of the players we'll talk about tonight to see how many minutes would be best suitable, and looking at 90 minutes and potentially extra time, how do I get the most out of Sam Kerr in the game tomorrow."<\/p>\n

Gustavsson is set to determine the availability of Kerr, Kyah Simon, Cortnee Vine, Tameka Yallop and Teagan Micah in a meeting with his brains trust on Sunday night.<\/p>\n
