Colombia's campaign at this year's FIFA Women's World Cup has been rocked after Linda Caicedo collapsed during training on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Footage posted to Twitter captured the moment Caicedo went down as she was jogging with teammates.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Caicedo clutches the left side of her chest before dropping herself to the ground where she lay on her back.<\/p>\n

Teammates and support staff rushed to her aid and she was eventually stretchered away to an ambulance.<\/p>\n

Caicedo was reportedly unconscious for 90 seconds during the ordeal but awoke before being taken to the hospital.<\/p>\n

Training was cancelled and media were asked to leave.<\/p>\n

A statement from Colombia's medical staff member explained on Thursday night, "Linda is very tired.<\/p>\n

"What happened was just a symptom of all the stress and physical demands.\u00a0<\/p>\n

"She is well and all is back to normal."<\/p>\n

Caicedo is something of a football heroine, having been diagnosed with ovarian cancer at just 15 years old, a year after making her professional debut.<\/p>\n

She had surgery to remove a tumour and subsequently underwent six months of chemotherapy before returning to top-flight football.<\/p>\n

This year's FIFA Women's World Cup was the first for the 18-year-old, scoring in her first match against South Korea in Colombia's 2-0 win.<\/p>\n

Colombia is set to face Germany in their second pool match on Sunday.<\/p>\n
