Alabama had been <a href=\"https:\/\/usatodayhss.com\/2023\/alabama-favorite-to-flip-5-star-olb-demarcus-riddick-from-georgia\">considered a slight favorite<\/a> to flip him.<\/p>\n<p>Riddick <a href=\"https:\/\/247sports.com\/recruitment\/demarcus-riddick-147443\/recruitinterests\/\">also had offers from<\/a> Arkansas, Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech, LSU, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Oregon, Penn State, Tennessee and Texas A&amp;M.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the loss, Georgia&#8217;s class of 2024 is <a href=\"https:\/\/247sports.com\/Season\/2024-Football\/CompositeTeamRankings\/\">still No. 1 in the nation<\/a> by a comfortable margin.
