Australian swimming superstar Ariarne Titmus<\/a> did it again, setting a new world record to take the gold medal in the women's 400m freestyle<\/a> at the World Championships on Sunday night.<\/p>\n

But it's not just her world record swim on the opening night<\/a> in Fukuoka, Japan, that has everyone talking.<\/p>\n

It's her coach Dean Boxall and his hilariously over-the-top reaction to Titmus' historic swim that has the world enthralled again (watch Boxall go nuts in the video above<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

Titmus \ufeffswam 3:55:38 and obliterated her rivals Katie Ledecky and Summer McIntosh, the previous record holder.<\/p>\n

Australian swimming legend Ian Thorpe was in awe of her swim<\/a>, explaining on Nine's Today<\/em> that she "obliterated" her competition.<\/p>\n

"Arni\ufeffe was able to show up and deliver a performance that really obliterated the rest of the field," Thorpe said.<\/p>\n

Thorpe also turned his attention to Boxall's antics, joking that the railing he shook didn't see his crazy reaction coming.<\/p>\n

"I don't know if the balustrade (fencing) asked for consent around that, he should check!"\ufeff Thorpe said.<\/em><\/p>\n

Titmus told Nine post race that it was her "most satisfying" win.<\/p>\n

"I feel like this victory is my most satisfying. So this is great," Titmus said.<\/p>\n

Titmus' gold was one of four clinched by Australia on Sunday, including the women's 4x100m freestyle relay team breaking their own world record.<\/p>\n
