Indian<\/a> captain Harmanpreet Kaur's actions in the deciding ODI with Bangladesh<\/a> have come under fire after she struck her stumps and fired off at umpires.<\/p>\n

Remarkably, the final contest of the three-match series in Bangladesh ended in a tie and so the trophy was shared between the two sides at one win apiece.<\/p>\n

However, the result was overshadowed by Kaur after she was dismissed for just 14 in India's run chase of 225.<\/p>\n

Kaur swept a ball off the bowling of Nahida Akter, which popped into the air and landed in the hands of Fahima Khatun.<\/p>\n

The umpire raised his finger after the catch, much to the displeasure of Kaur who punched her bat before striking down the stumps in anger.<\/p>\n

It's not abundantly clear whether Kaur thought she was given out LBW, but hit her bat afterwards as if to suggest as much.<\/p>\n

Her tirade didn't stop there. In the post-match interview, she took aim at the Bangladesh umpires Muhammad Kamruzzaman and Tanvir Ahmed.<\/p>\n

"A lot of learning from this game," Kaur said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

"Even apart from the cricket, the type of umpiring that was happening there, we were very surprised.\u00a0<\/p>\n

"The next time whenever we are coming to Bangladesh, we'll have to make sure we have to deal with this kind of umpiring and accordingly, we'll have to prepare ourselves."<\/p>\n

Kaur wasn't the only player to protest an umpire's decision in the match.<\/p>\n

Earlier, Yastika Bhatia stood her ground after being given out LBW.<\/p>\n

The decisive moment came in the final over with the scores tied. Meghna Singh played a cut shot away from her body and was given out caught behind after she edged it.<\/p>\n

In the post-match press conference, Kaur continued her tirade.<\/p>\n

"They (Bangladesh) batted really well, batted according to the situation. They were taking those singles which were very crucial," Kaur said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

"In between, we leaked a few runs but when we were batting, we controlled the game very well.\u00a0<\/p>\n

"But, as I mentioned earlier, some pathetic umpiring was done, and we are really disappointed about some decisions given by the umpires."<\/p>\n

According to ESPN Cricinfo, Kaur said "bring the umpires too" to the post-match photo as if to suggest they were part of Bangladesh's win.<\/p>\n

Those comments weren't taken well by Bangladesh captain Nigar Sultana, who prompted her team to get up and leave.<\/p>\n

"It is totally her problem. I have nothing to do with it," Nigar said when asked about the incident.<\/p>\n

"As a player, she could have shown better manners. I can't tell you what happened, but it didn't feel right to be there (for the photograph) with my team.\u00a0<\/p>\n

"It wasn't the right environment. That's why we went back. Cricket is a game of discipline and respect."<\/p>\n

"The umpires wouldn't give her out if she wasn't out. We had umpires from men's international cricket, so they were good umpires.\u00a0<\/p>\n

"What are they going to say about the caught or run-out dismissals? We have respected their decisions. The umpire's decision is the final decision, whether I like it or not. Why didn't we behave in that way?"<\/p>\n
