In scoring a sensational 91 in the second Women's Ashes<\/a> ODI against England<\/a> at the Rose Bowl, Ellyse Perry<\/a> moved past a number of personal milestones and joined an exclusive cricket club.<\/p>\n

She moved past 6000 runs, and became the first Australian<\/a>, male or female, to have scored 6000 runs and taken 300 wickets in international cricket.<\/p>\n

She is also the first woman to join the club, which includes the likes of Imran Khan, Ian Botham, Wasim Akram, Jacques Kallis and Andrew Flintoff, among others.<\/p>\n

It was also the first time in her 16-year international career Perry had been involved in three partnerships of 50-plus in the same ODI.<\/p>\n

Batting at first drop, Perry was in the middle in just the second over after Phoebe Litchfield was out lbw to Lauren Bell for seven.<\/p>\n

Perry would combine with Beth Mooney for a 61-run partnership for the third wicket, then Ash Gardner for a 56-run stand for the fifth wicket, and an 81-run stand with Annabel Sutherland for the sixth wicket.<\/p>\n

Perry's 91 also saw her move past 3500 runs in WODIs, having done so in 131 matches at 50.25.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In this Ashes series, Perry has been at the crease for nearly half of Australia's runs.\ufeff<\/p>\n

She also requires just four runs to move past the 1000-run mark against England, against whom she's played 35 matches.<\/p>\n

Perry steadied the Australian innings as she has done on several occasions, and only fell to Sophie Ecclestone in the deep in the dying overs chasing quick runs.<\/p>\n

Georgia Wareham then smacked 26 off the final over to set England 283 to win.<\/p>\n

In response, a stunning century from form England batter Natalie Sciver-Brunt at better than a run-a-ball all but got England over the line.<\/p>\n

Needing 15 runs off the final over with the ball in Jess Jonassen's hands, Sciver-Brunt picked up a single with the first ball, before Sarah Glenn picked up another off the second. Sciver-Brunt kept England in it with a boundary behind square from the third ball.<\/p>\n

She wasn't able to find the boundary again though, and the Aussies got home by just three runs, retaining the Ashes in doing so.<\/p>\n

The final ODI in the multi-format women's Ashes is at Taunton on Tuesday night (AEST).<\/p>\n
