Parramatta<\/a> prop Reagan Campbell-Gillard<\/a> has been whacked with a big suspension for an ugly incident on Sunday.<\/p>\n

\ufeffCampbell-Gillard dived with his knees onto the back of Gold Coast ball-carrier Chris Randall during the Eels' thrilling one-point win<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The match review committee has offered the State of Origin front-rower a four-game ban, or he risks five games if he fights it at the judiciary and loses.<\/p>\n

Campbell-Gillard was sin-binned for the act during the game and left his team with only 11 men on the field, with teammate Maika Sivo also in the bin.\ufeff<\/p>\n

Fox League experts S\ufeffhane Flanagan and Bryan Fletcher were among several who agreed the prop's action warranted a send-off.<\/p>\n

\"Eels<\/p>\n

"That's ordinary. That's an ordinary one there. Campbell-Gillard, that is ill-disciplined personified," respected commentator Andrew Voss said on Fox League.<\/p>\n

"You couldn't even defend that. That is careless."<\/p>\n

Speaking on radio on Monday morning, league legend Laurie Daley agreed it was an ugly act.\ufeff<\/p>\n

"It didn't look good, it was ugly," Daley said on Big Sports Breakfast.<\/p>\n

"He's not a dirty player, that's totally against what he would normally do. It's like he was coming in and thought I'm going to continue here with my knees."<\/p>\n

Campbell-Gillard isn't the only player facing a suspension from round 20.<\/p>\n

Dolphins veteran Jarrod Wallace (shoulder charge), Titans captain Tino Fa'asuamaleui (shoulder charge), and Eels winger Sivo (careless high tackle) can all accept three-game bans.<\/p>\n
