T\ufeffhe Eels<\/a> claimed a one-point victory over the Titans<\/a> at Commbank Stadium on Sunday night after a late field goal from Mitchell Moses<\/a> captured the 25-24 win.<\/p>\n

The \ufeffhosts controlled the opening quarter of play before a double sin bin gifted the Gold Coast a way in. \ufeff<\/p>\n

The match quickly became 11 against 13 as \ufeffMaika Sivo<\/a> and Reagan Campbell-Gillard<\/a> were sent to the sin bin by referee Chris Butler.<\/p>\n

The Eels first lost winger Maika Sivo in the 21st minute after he was penalised and placed on report for a high tackle on Jojo Fifita.<\/p>\n

The incident was not noted straight away but was subsequently picked up by the Bunker where replays demonstrated the extent of foul play.<\/p>\n

"It was high, forceful contact. You are in the bin," Butler could be heard telling Sivo.<\/p>\n

Three minutes later, \ufeffprop Reagan Campbell-Gillard joined his teammate in the bin after leading with his knees in a tackle.<\/p>\n

In an apparent flash of ill-discipline\ufeff, Campbell-Gillard looked to act with intent.<\/p>\n

"That is bordering on a send-off," former NRL premiership player Bryan Fletcher told Fox League.<\/p>\n

\"Eels<\/p>\n

"He'll get a couple of weeks for that."<\/p>\n

With the Eels down \ufefftwo players, the Titans, who were trailing 12-4 before the penalties, made the most of the situation, scoring 10 points to steal the lead.<\/p>\n

This triggered a see-sawing affair where the lead changed on five occasions.<\/p>\n

In the 66th minute, Parramatta skipper \ufeffClinton Gutherson put down an extraordinary superman-like try on the left edge before Moses slotted a crucial conversion from the sideline to even the score at 24-all.<\/p>\n

This set up Moses' \ufeffclutch one-point field goal in the 74th minute to edge the Eels in front.<\/p>\n

Titans halfback Tanah Boyd\ufeff attempted to kick an equaliser but was unable to hit the target.<\/p>\n

Speaking in his post-match press conference, Eels coach Brad Arthur was pleased with his side's resilience.<\/p>\n

"It was a crazy game of footy, wasn't it," he said.<\/p>\n

"Every time we play Gold Coast, it seems to go that way.\ufeff<\/p>\n

"I'm extremely proud of them, we used a lot of juice \u2026 just to find a way to get the result was really important for us."<\/p>\n
