NSW winger Josh Addo-Carr<\/a> is in doubt for Saturday's clash against Brisbane after coming off the field late in NSW's Origin III win<\/a> on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n

Addo-Carr was forced from the field in the 77th minute with a hamstring injury, opening the door for Clint Gutherson to make short cameo.<\/p>\n

The Canterbury star was seen on the sidelines with his hamstring heavily strapped with ice.<\/p>\n

He was spotted walking gingerly in the dressing room but NSW coach Fittler played down the seriousness of the injury.<\/p>\n

"I think he's good, I think he's alright," Fittler said<\/p>\n

"I think he was looking for a rest."<\/p>\n

However,\ufeff Canterbury general manager of Phil Gould seemed concerned by the way Addo-Carr was moving around.<\/p>\n

"Fox was iced up and limping. Didn't look good at all," Gould tweeted.<\/p>\n

The chances of Addo-Carr lacing the boots against the Broncos on Saturday afternoon remain slim, considering\ufeff a low-grade hamstring injury requires a week's recovery.<\/p>\n

If it's a low grade strain, he could return for the club's round 21 clash with Penrith next Sunday or round 22 match up with the Dolphins the following week. <\/p>\n

Canterbury is all but out of finals contention\ufeff and would need to go on a roll and win six of their last eight games after racking up just six wins through the season to be any chance of making the eight.<\/p>\n

Addo-Carr was one of the best performers for NSW in game three, scoring a try that was compared with Billy Slater's chip and chase Origin classic<\/a> and running for 134 metres.<\/p>\n
