James Tedesco<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Didn&#x27;t overplay his hand after heavy criticism in games one and two &#8211; his best game of the series. Set up the try that sealed victory.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 7<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Brian To&#x27;o<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Gave his usual metre eating display on the wing, running for over 200 metres and getting the Blues out of trouble from Queensland&#x27;s kick-chase.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 7.5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img data-video-id=\"6331056786112\" src=\"https:\/\/sportinfo.pro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/pickerimage-123.jpg\" alt=\"Blues\u00a0go\u00a0sideline\u00a0to\u00a0sideline\u00a0for\u00a0electric\u00a0try\" data-vms-id=\"ref:cljzkwgiu00030lp5jhedacf8\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Josh Addo-Carr<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Scored one of the classic Origin tries with a chip and chase and made several other strong runs as well as being safe under the high ball.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 8<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>6. Cody Walker<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>His inclusion made a huge difference to the Blues, with their attack finally running smoothly after being so clunky in the earlier games. Mitchell Moses<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A solid all-round game &#8211; took on the line, gave his outside men opportunities and kicked accurately in general play.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 7<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>8. Jake Trbojevic<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Strong in the middle, leading the Blues&#x27; line in defence. Didn&#x27;t do a lot with the ball but his mere presence lifted the Blues.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 6<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>9. Damien Cook<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>His smart service from dummyhalf to his Bunnies&#x27; team-mate Walker was a key factor in the Blues&#x27; win.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 6.5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img data-id=\"6cb105cb-1359-4772-9d6d-20646b27b886\" src=\"https:\/\/sportinfo.pro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/6cb105cb-1359-4772-9d6d-20646b27b886\" alt=\"\" data-width=\"960\" data-height=\"540\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>10. Reagan Campbell-Gillard<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Hit the defensive line hard when carting the ball up, running for over 100 metres and pulling off some big hits in defence.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 6.5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>11. Liam Martin<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Did little in attack but worried the life out of Queensland with his terrier-like defence.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 6<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>12. Keaon Koloamatangi<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Probably the Blues&#x27; most destructive forward, making the hard yards, hitting with purpose in defence and coming up with a brilliant tip-on in the Blues&#x27; first try.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 8<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>13. Cameron Murray<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Justified his spot in the starting side with a busy game in attack and defence. Isaah Yeo<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Brought some energy to the team in his new role off the bench, gaining over 100 metres and having a try disallowed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 6.5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>15. Jacob Saifiti<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Got less than 30 minutes game time and never really put his stamp on the match.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>16. Reece Robson<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Like Saifiti, never quite got into the game when given his opportunity from the bench.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>17. Clinton Gutherson<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Only got onto the field in the dying stages and didn&#x27;t get any chances to show his talents.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 3<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><strong>QUEENSLAND MAROONS<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><img data-video-id=\"6331062266112\" src=\"https:\/\/sportinfo.pro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/pickerimage-125.jpg\" alt=\"Slater: &#x27;You get what you deserve&#x27;\" data-vms-id=\"ref:cljzq7byw00060jo4fdhda631\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>\ufeff1. AJ Brimson<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Did his best to fill Reece Walsh&#x27;s big boots but couldn&#x27;t come up with the big plays from fullback.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 6<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Xavier Coates<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The ball didn&#x27;t bounce his way &#8211; narrowly missed a couple of tries but was still always a threat.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 6<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Valentine Holmes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Struggled holding the rampaging Bradman Best and reading the Blues attack and got few chances with the ball.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 4.5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Scored his customary Origin try and narrowly missed another &#8211; always a danger when given any time or space.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 6.5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img data-video-id=\"6331056827112\" src=\"https:\/\/sportinfo.pro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/pickerimage-126.jpg\" alt=\"Hammer stuns Blues with perfect response\" data-vms-id=\"ref:cljzlr53d00010jpsnfy5a7sw\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>5. Murray Taulagi<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Made more yardage than any Queenslander but like much of the Maroons backline, saw little ball in open territory.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 6<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>6. Cameron Munster<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Made less impact than in the first two games but still ran for over 130 metres and laid on a try for his team.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 7<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>7. Daly Cherry-Evans<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tried to rally his troops as captain but couldn&#x27;t come up with the big plays he produced in the earlier games.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 6<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img data-video-id=\"6331062507112\" src=\"https:\/\/sportinfo.pro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/pickerimage-127.jpg\" alt=\"&#x27;It&#x27;s\u00a0all\u00a0for\u00a0you&#x27;\" data-vms-id=\"ref:cljzow2e000040js3dfvcmvwi\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>8. Reuben Cotter<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Played the full game, made more tackles than anyone on the field and ran for over 100 metres. Deserved his Wally Lewis Medal.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 8<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>9. Harry Grant<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Had an unhappy game, making two errors at dummyhalf and giving away three penalties under intense pressure from the Blues.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 4<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>10. Tino Fa&#x27;asuamaleaui<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Made more yardage than any forward on the field and came up with some strong hits in defence to complete a fine series.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 7.5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>11. David Fifita<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Scored the game&#x27;s opening try from a kick and always threatened, but generally well contained by the Blues defence.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 6.5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img data-video-id=\"6331055809112\" src=\"https:\/\/sportinfo.pro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/pickerimage-128.jpg\" alt=\"Hammer\u00a0leaps\u00a0over\u00a0To\u00a0o\u00a0in\u00a0Maroons\u00a0opener\" data-vms-id=\"ref:cljzkq86g00030kqr237afkwu\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>12. Jeremiah Nanai<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Came back to the field with just eight runs for 80 metres but will learn from his maiden Origin series and be back in 2024.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 5.5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>13. Patrick Carrigan<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Continued his fine form from earlier in the series, running for nearly 150 metres and working his butt off in defence.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 7<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img data-id=\"036b8958-45be-4f2a-aace-58ba70ca5bf4\" src=\"https:\/\/sportinfo.pro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/f9a3cae4-dc86-4b5a-9e5b-a4b9391b217a\" alt=\"Maroons players look on in dismay on after losing game three of the State of Origin series.\" data-width=\"1396\" data-height=\"785\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>14. Ben Hunt<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Added some polish to the Maroons&#x27; attack when thrown into the fray but couldn&#x27;t turn the tide as the Blues dominated the middle.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 6<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>15. Lindsay Collins<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Only made 76 metres with the ball but rattled the Blues&#x27; ribs with his fearsome defence to earn his night&#x27;s pay.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 7<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>16. Moeaki Fotuaika<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Had little impact, making just seven runs as the Blues out-enthused the Queensland pack.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>17.
