After New South Wales<\/a> Blues coach Brad Fittler<\/a> accused \ufeff"media people" of attempting to "drive a wedge" between him and Nicho Hynes<\/a>, the Sharks star has been spotted as part of the side's inner sanctum during Origin<\/a> III.<\/p>\n

Hynes was spectacularly dumped from the Blues side after Origin I, following a 12-minute cameo off the bench, replacing Tom Trbojevic in the centres who suffered a concussion.<\/p>\n

\ufeffDespite Fittler and Blues advisor Greg Alexander being questioned over the treatment of Hynes, the Sharks halfback is part of a support crew, as reported by Nine's Danny Weidler.<\/p>\n

"Those trying to push the 'wedge' line between coach Brad Fittler and certain players won't like to hear this. Nicho Hynes heading up a crew of players including Nathan (Cleary), Junior Paulo, Tommy T (Trbojevic), Api (Koroisau) and Hudson Young to support Blues at ground tonight," Weidler tweeted. \ufeff<\/p>\n

Paulo and Young were both axed by Fittler for Origin III after featuring in the opening two games.<\/p>\n

Cleary, Trbojevic and Koroisau all suffered injuries throughout the series and were unavailable for game three.<\/p>\n

Fittler revealed nine days ago on Nine's 100% Footy<\/em> that he'd had dialogue with Hynes since his axing.<\/p>\n

"I spoke to Nicho after Cronulla's (win over the Dragons), he was fantastic," he said.<\/p>\n

"The situation with Nicho at the moment is he's playing halfback for the Sharks and he pretty much predominantly plays on the right-hand side, so Mitchell Moses is the halfback and plays on the right-hand side and you've got someone like Cody Walker who is a five-eighth and plays on the other side, so it's a much better fit.<\/p>\n

"Because Nicho's doing such a great job on and off the field at the moment, it seems like a real easy target for a lot of media people to come into scrutiny and want to put pressure on that selection, and it feels like they want to drive a wedge between Nicho and myself.<\/p>\n

"Nicho and myself are totally understanding of the situation at the moment, I respect what he's doing for the Sharks and he's doing an incredible job, so if he keeps going he's going to force his way into the team somewhere."\ufeff<\/p>\n

Former Blues coach Phil Gould also \ufeffrevealed all the injured and dropped players were in the Blues dressing room.<\/p>\n

NSW and Queensland both named unchanged sides for Origin III, despite rumours Reece Robson and Damien Cook may swap, along with bench utility Clint Gutherson and reserve Spencer Leniu. \ufeff<\/p>\n
