And I want to be there to continue to support him, and also challenge him in the same way that we're challenging each other. So I think that for me, when I saw him run onto the field, we had a little yarn on the way past, and see how he went about that, scoring a try kicking the goal. It's a great start to his Test career."<\/p>\n Other playmaking options in the Wallabies squad include Ben Donaldson and Reece Hodge while \ufeffBernard Foley and James O'Connor will line up for Australia A against Tonga in Nuku'alofa on Friday.<\/p>\n Brumbies five-eighth Noah Lolesio \ufeffremains in the selection wilderness.<\/p>\n Regardless of who Jones turns to in France, Cooper said Gordon had the crucial ingredients to be a top field general.\ufeff<\/p>\n "It's a place that takes a lot of nerves, takes a lot of hard work. And yeah, he's definitely one of those guys," Cooper said.<\/p>\n Cooper and Gordon first met in 2018 when playing at the Reds.\ufeff<\/p>\n "And I remember saying to Stilesy (Nick Stiles) at that time, who's now the GM at Melbourne, 'mate, this kid's good. If you can get him, keep him.' He's a great player. And now to see him continue that on to now playing Test match footy…<\/p>\n "We all know we're talented footballers. But just for me, getting to know him as a man, as a person, that's what I've enjoyed the most."<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Wallabies hooker Dave Porecki says the front row is ready to rectify its woes from Pretoria against the Pumas.<\/p>\n "Whilst to the naked eye or to the person that probably doesn't understand the scrums, it might look like one individual. But to me, it's an all eight thing. We were in the challenge," Porecki said.<\/p>\n "We were up for it for the first 20 (minutes). And then we fell away. So yeah, it's a pack mentality for us.
