Carey gives England a life late in chase\ufeff<\/h2>\n

When England needed four runs to win, Mark Wood top-edged a Mitchell Starc delivery and Alex Carey dropped a difficult chance.<\/p>\n

It could have been an opportunity for Scott Boland at third man, but Carey sprinted a long way and dived, only to drop the ball and let off Wood as the tailender scurried through for a single.<\/p>\n

Three balls later, Chris Woakes stepped away and slashed Starc through point to seal victory.\ufeff<\/p>\n
