Van 't Hoff's death was confirmed by race organisers more than two and a half hours after the race, which was red-flagged after the incident.<\/p>\n
It's the second death at the circuit in four years after Anthoine Hubert died in a similar incident while competing in Formula 2. He was also t-boned.<\/p>\n
Stroll, who finished fourth in the sprint race at the Austrian Grand Prix, said changes must be made to the Belgian circuit.<\/p>\n
"It's a tragic thing for motorsport, we lost a driver today," said Stroll.<\/p>\n

Dilano has been a part of our racing family since his motorsport debut with MP back in 2021.<\/p>\n "We offer our sincere condolences to Dilano's family and his loved ones, and are in full support of them and our team members who have lost not only a driver but a friend as well."<\/p>\n Van 't Hoff finished second in his debut Formula 4 season in the UAE before stepping up to the Spanish equivalent the next year, which he won.<\/p>\n This year marked his second Formula Regional European Championship campaign with MP Motorsport.
