A\ufeffdelaide<\/a> midfielder Ben Keays could find himself in hot water after bizarrely ripping Mason Cox<\/a>'s protective glasses off his head during a wild brawl at the MCG.<\/p>\n

Keays' Crows gave a terrific account of themselves against the AFL's ladder leaders, but were unable to hold onto a three-quarter time lead as Collingwood came from behind to run out 12. 10. (82) to 11. 14. (80) winners<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Cox lit the fuse for Collingwood in the final term, kicking two of the Magpies' five final quarter goals and was at the centre of a massive brawl following his second.<\/p>\n

The American big man kicked truly on a set shot and then bumped Crows youngster Josh Worrell to kick-start the brawl, with Keays running from behind and snatching his glasses off his head. <\/p>\n

"The glasses are gone."<\/p>\n

"Ben Keays grabbed them from the back!" a clearly unimpressed Nathan Buckley added.<\/p>\n

"Never hit a guy with glasses \u2013 is that something you learn as a kid?"<\/p>\n

Cox has worn the protective goggles since the start of last season following six different surgeries on his eyes during his career.<\/p>\n

The American big man was left legally blind for a short period following back-to-back surgeries in 2019\ufeff.<\/p>\n

Collingwood was once again led by young gun Nick Daicos, who thrived in a midfield role with 37 disposals and a goal, while Crows skipper Jordan Dawson also finished with 37 touches.<\/p>\n

Crows veteran Taylor Walker continued his late-career renaissance with a five-goal haul.<\/p>\n

The Crows will return home in round 16 to take on the Kangaroos at the Adelaide Oval, while Collingwood will face the Suns at Heritage Bank Stadium.\ufeff<\/p>\n
