England has added 18-year-old allrounder Rehan Ahmed to its squad for the second Ashes<\/a> Test as concerns linger for Moeen Ali<\/a>\u2019s injured finger.<\/p>\n

Australia leads the five-match series 1-0 after winning a dramatic first Test at Edgbaston<\/a> by two wickets.<\/p>\n

Ahmed became the youngest man to play Test cricket for England when the Leicestershire spinner was picked for the final match of its tour of Pakistan last December – 126 days after his 18th birthday.<\/p>\n

At Karachi, Rehan claimed 7-137 and scored 10 and one with the bat.<\/p>\n

In his seven county games for Leicestershire this year, Rehan has taken just six wickets at 67.66, with best figures of 3-89.<\/p>\n

Following his stunning recall after an 18-month hiatus from first-class cricket<\/a>, Ali struggled to bowl after developing a nasty blister on his spinning finger.<\/p>\n

The 36-year-old Ali remains in the squad and is hopeful of recovering in time.<\/p>\n
