Australia completed an instantly iconic Ashes victory<\/a> when skipper Pat Cummins hit an Ollie Robinson ball for four in the dying stages of day five.<\/p>\n

The boundary, which came about when Harry Brook made a mess at third man, sealed a remarkable two-wicket win for the Australians.<\/p>\n

The tourists, set 281 runs to win, were steered home by Cummins and Nathan Lyon, who combined for an improbable 55-run partnership as Australia took a 1-0 lead in the series.<\/p>\n
