Under-fire Dragons<\/a> skipper Ben Hunt<\/a> has been named in the side to take on the Warriors<\/a> on Friday night.<\/p>\n

Speculation about Hunt's playing future has been rife in the days since news broke that he had requested \u2013 and subsequently been denied \u2013 an immediate release from the club.<\/p>\n

At barely 48 hours, Hunt has the shortest turnaround of any Origin stars.<\/p>\n

Dragons utility Moses Mbye said he personally didn't expect to see Hunt in the No.7 on Friday, but believes the Queensland hooker will play if physically and mentally able to.<\/p>\n

"He is a 32-year-old and he has a lot of footy under his belt, but I don't know if he will be physically ready to go by Friday night, but if he is I'm sure he is going to play," he said on SEN Radio.<\/p>\n

"He's not the kind of guy that is going to toss up NRL games, he's super competitive as you know.\u00a0<\/p>\n

"If he is physically okay to play, and mentally okay to play, then he will play.\u00a0<\/p>\n

"I don't think him not coming out on the field on Friday night [would be] because of the saga going on behind the scenes. "<\/p>\n
