Usman Khawaja's maiden Test ton in England<\/a> led a desperately needed Australian fightback on day two of the Ashes opener<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Khawaja walked off at stumps on 126 after steering the Australians to 5-311, with the tourists trailing England's first-innings total by 82 at Edgbaston.<\/p>\n
