Richmond<\/a> star Marlion Pickett<\/a> \ufeffhas been remanded in custody on alleged burglary charges and will attend Perth Magistrates Court on Monday for a bail hearing.<\/p>\n

Richmond Football Club confirmed the charges, offering its support to Pickett "and his family while these matters are dealt with".<\/p>\n

The club revealed the charges related to alleged offences in December 2022 and January 2023. \ufeff<\/p>\n

In a statement, WA Police said Pickett was charged with four counts of aggravated burglary, three counts of stealing, three counts of criminal damage, one of attempted stealing and one of receiving. \ufeff<\/p>\n

His manager, Anthony Van Der Wielen told The Age<\/a> Pickett "has a strong intent to defend himself against the charges".<\/p>\n

Pickett was in Perth on Saturday night for the Tigers victory over Fremantle.<\/p>\n

After making his debut in the 2019 grand final, the 31-year-old has become a regular in the Tigers side, appearing in all 13 games for Richmond this season.<\/p>\n
