Dolphins<\/a> coach W\ufeffayne Bennett<\/a> has admitted hooker Jeremy Marshall-King may have returned to the side too early after he suffered another injury on Friday night.<\/p>\n

The Dolphins were subject to a huge 58-18 loss to Manly at Brookvale Oval<\/a>, as Tom Trbojevic ran riot after he was cleared to play following a concussion in State of Origin.<\/p>\n

Marshall-King and Brenko Lee both failed to see out the \ufeffmatch as the Dolphins contend with a number of outs.<\/p>\n

The Dolphins now have four players on the injury list, but Sean O'Sullivan is likely to return in round 17 from a pectoral injury and Tom Gilbert out for the season.<\/p>\n

Felise Kaufusi, Anthony Milford and Jarrod Wallace are also suspended.<\/p>\n

Bennett confirmed next weekend's bye has come at the right time. \ufeff<\/p>\n

"We just need to re-group right now and the week off will help us do that," he said post-game.<\/p>\n

The Dolphins coach added Marshall-King's injury woes leading into the match probably hadn't been managed properly. \ufeff<\/p>\n

"He's got an AC joint problem, maybe he shouldn't have played tonight, he thought he was fit, \ufeffwe thought he was fit but he just wasn't as effective as he normally is," he said after the hooker went off at half-time.<\/p>\n

Lee also injured his ankle in the opening 10 minutes before he left the field not long after. <\/p>\n

"Brenko, he lasted 15 minutes last week and 10 minutest this week but it was a different injury this week," he said.<\/p>\n

Playing at home, Manly were simply electric, running out to a 22-0 lead after 16 minutes.<\/p>\n

At half-time, the Sea Eagles went into the sheds leading 28-6 and the party continued in the second 40 minutes, running out 58-18 winners.<\/p>\n

Trbojevic was outstanding with two tries while Reuben Garrick scored a hat-trick while Tolutau Koula and Jason Saab also finished with doubles. \ufeffHamiso Tabuai-Fidow was the best for the Dolphins, scoring two.<\/p>\n

Rugby league Immortal Andrew \ufeffJohns was in awe of the Sea Eagles' potency in attack.<\/p>\n

"They didn't have a bad player on the field, so much skill … if they get it right and find their groove towards the end of the year they're a dangerous team, you don't want to be playing them," he said on Nine's coverage.<\/p>\n

NRL expert Al\ufeffanna Ferguson said on Nine she believed the Dolphins' display in defence was one of the worst for the season.<\/p>\n

"I thought that was the most fragile the Dolphins defence has looked all year but then on the other side of that of course Manly, they were absolutely firing," she said.<\/p>\n

"A lot of things went their way but I thought that was a result of their effort and those keys players setting things up well."<\/p>\n
