League icon \ufeffAndrew Johns<\/a> \ufeffhas spoken about Corey Harawira-Naera's on-field seizure<\/a> and the perspective it gives players after the traumatic incident.<\/p>\n

The Raiders<\/a> forward was discharged from Westmead Hospital at 3.30am on Sunday after he suffered a seizure in the 66th minute against the Rabbitohs.<\/p>\n

About 30 seconds after taking a hit-up, Harawira-Naera\ufeff had a fit, hit the deck and was seen convulsing, before Raiders and Rabbitohs players gathered to block the public from seeing the distressing scenes.<\/p>\n

Johns said the incident provides an opportunity to reflect on what's most important. \ufeff<\/p>\n

"The look on some of the players' faces, it went up close on Albert Hopoate and you could see Albert, just the concern in his face," he told Wide World of Sports' Immortal Behaviour<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

"We all love footy as it's the number one thing in their life, you realise when this happens that health is number one so hopefully he'll be back this year, I'd imagine he will be back."<\/p>\n

On Sunday, Harawira-Naera shared a positive message for all concerned, grateful for those that supported him.<\/p>\n

"I want to thank the club, the boys from both teams, our medical staff\ufeff as well as the Rabbitohs medical staff, the paramedics, the doctors," he said in a video.<\/p>\n

"As well as all the footy fans, family, friends, I've been \ufeffpretty fortunate to receive a lot of messages about what happened last night (on Saturday).<\/p>\n

\"Star<\/p>\n

"I'm doing a lot better now\ufeff. I'm not in the clear yet but we'll get some more scans and figure it out."<\/p>\n

Johns also praised all parties for the respectful way the incident was covered and treated. \ufeff<\/p>\n

"It didn't look good, I've got to say well done to the players, the way they formed a guard and I've got to say well done to the broadcasters, they didn't get in close and show the situation he was in because I'd imagine it was quite graphic," he said.<\/p>\n

"He's in good hands, the medical staff, the way they treated him on the field with kid gloves. And I thought Ricky Stuart, the way he came down to the field to care for his players, he's in great hands, they won't rush him back."<\/p>\n
