Ash Barty has held her nerve to see off Marie Bouzkova and advance to the quarterfinals of the Yarra Valley Classic in Melbourne.<\/p>\n
The Aussie world No.1 prevailed 6-0, 4-6, 6-3 over the world No.52 from the Czech Republic in just over two hours.<\/p>\n
"I pressed a little bit and lost my execution but found it again," Barty said, referring to a second set in which she made 13 unforced errors and appeared frustrated at times.<\/p>\n
"It's quite different serving end to end, there's a drift from this near-end and it is an adjustment. She [Bouzkova] made a lot of returns and makes you work really hard on every single service game.<\/p>\n
"Trying to get a few cheapies when I can and trying not to give cheapies away myself was probably the key. Happy to get it on my terms at the end there."<\/p>\n
Barty will now play American Shelby Rogers in the quarterfinals.<\/p>\n
