Tevita Tatola has signed an extension with South Sydney that will keep the Tongan international at the club until at least the end of the 2024 season.\n<\/p>\n
The prop made his NRL grade debut against the New Zealand Warriors in 2018 and has been a mainstay for South Sydney ever since.\n<\/p>\n
The 24-year old has played for Tonga in two Test matches, as well as representing the Australian Schoolboys in 2016.<\/p>\n
Tatola averaged 122 running metres in 2020 and made 1067 post-contact metres giving his side a hard edge up the middle, while also being extremely efficient in defence.\n<\/p>\n

"I'm really happy to be staying at the Rabbitohs. They gave me an opportunity to play in the NRL and I want to give back to the club for what they've done for me," Tatola said in statement released by the club.\n<\/p>\n
"I think we have a squad here that can do something special in the years to come so I'm glad I'll be here until 2024 and hopefully for more years to come after that.\n<\/p>\n
