The World Boxing Organisation has ordered undisputed champion Jermell Charlo<\/a> to fight for his belts before September 30.<\/p>\n

The news means Australian fighter Tim Tszyu<\/a> could finally get his shot at all the world titles this year.<\/p>\n

Tszyu and Charlo were set to fight in Laz Vegas in January, but a broken hand to the latter during training scuppered those plans.<\/p>\n

Tszyu, 28 years old with a 22-0 career record, has since beaten Tony Harrison\ufeff via TKO for the interim WBO super-welterweight title<\/a> in March, and has a date with Mexican brawler Carlos Ocampo in June<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The WBO on Wednesday announced the winner of that June fight will have to meet Charlo before September 30 to contest his undisputed titles.<\/p>\n

"It's massive. It's the news we've been waiting on but again highlights just how big a risk Tim's fight next month on the Gold Coast is," No Limit Boxing promoter George Rose said.<\/p>\n

"If Tim loses, it's over. No Charlo, no undisputed, no nothing.<\/p>\n

"After all the waiting and uncertainty, it's crazy to think it's Jermell Charlo who has the advantage\u2026 He's prepping now and doesn't have a world-class, tough Mexican in Carlos Ocampo trying to take everything away from him.<\/p>\n

"Sunday June 18 has just become a whole lot bigger. The stakes couldn't be higher. His shot at undisputed depends on it."\ufeff<\/p>\n

Tszyu was bitterly disappointed when Charlo's broken hand robbed him of his first shot at multiple world title belts.<\/p>\n

\"Jermell<\/p>\n

While the Aussie has stayed in training in the hope the chance came around again, he's accused Charlo of being "\ufeffoff his head, drunk" and attempting to dodge a bout for his belts.<\/p>\n

"There's a difference between me and him," Tszyu said last week after announcing the Ocampo fight.<\/p>\n

"You see me, I'm active. I'm staying ready for the next opportunity.<\/p>\n

"And every opportunity I get, I'm going to take it.<\/p>\n

"Him on the other hand, he's on a honeymoon, off to Las Vegas, getting smashed."<\/p>\n

Tszyu and Ocampo will fight on June 18 on the Gold Coast.<\/p>\n
