The Dragons<\/a> now need to show several disgruntled players some love following the Anthony Griffin<\/a> debacle – or risk their roster imploding.<\/p>\n

Wide World of Sports has learned that at least three players – star utility Jack Bird<\/a>, tryscoring ace Mikaele Ravalawa and talented forward Jaydn Su'A – are disillusioned with the direction the club has been taking over the past couple of years.<\/p>\n

While Griffin's departure solves some of the concerns, the players are still unhappy with the club's dithering management, poor recruitment and lack of results on the field.<\/p>\n

Don't be surprised if tough forward Sam Lisone returns to the Titans from Super League club Leeds in 2024.<\/p>\n

Lisone's partner, Kiwi Ferns legend Georgia Hale, has signed with the Titans and will leave England to return to Austraia shortly.<\/p>\n

She put out this statement: "My partner Sam Lisone is here and sees his future at the club (Leeds) and I am so in support of that. I really want to return and keep building my personal relationship with the club, but it's just a personal endeavour that I really do want to chase in Australia."<\/p>\n

Lisone has also reaffirmed his commitment to Leeds – but down the track, after six months apart from his beloved, don't be surprised if the landscape changes.<\/p>\n

Eels youngster closing in on new deal\ufeff<\/h3>\n

Much-improved forward Wiremu Greig is close to signing a new three-year deal with the Eels.<\/p>\n

Greig has developed into a regular in the Eels pack this season after serving his apprenticeship in the lower grades last season.<\/p>\n

The 23-year-old played one game in the top grade in 2022 but with the Eels losing several experienced players, he got his chance and has made the most of it.<\/p>\n

Born in New Zealand, Greig played his junior football for the Cowboys and also got a taste of rep footy in 2021, playing for the M\u0101ori All Stars team against the Indigenous All Stars.<\/p>\n

Big and strong, he is still a baby in terms of front rowers and looks like he will develop into a handy player up front.<\/p>\n

Bronco's halfback dress rehearsal\ufeff<\/h3>\n

All eyes will be on promising halfback Jock Madden when the Broncos take on Penrith tomorrow night.<\/p>\n

Madden will wear the number seven jumper in place of the injured Adam Reynolds – but it could so easily have been the other way around.<\/p>\n

\"SUNSHINE<\/p>\n

Madden, who was with the Tigers last season, came within a whisker of joining the Panthers over the summer as a replacement for Nathan Cleary's back-up Sean O'Sullivan, who moved to the Dolphins.<\/p>\n

But at the last minute Madden decided to go to the Broncos, where he is learning under the maestro, Reynolds.<\/p>\n

He faces a massive test opposite Cleary tomorrow night, but the former Australian Schoolboy is a talent and a regular NRL halfback in the future.<\/p>\n
