The company announced the game schedule on Monday, which will be as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">August 24<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Willowbrook High School vs. Bishop Gorman High School girls flag football<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Long Beach Poly High School vs. Irvington High School girls flag football<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">August 25<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Long Beach Poly High School vs. Bishop Gorman High School boys football<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Home city NFL teams will sponsor these football teams participating in the class:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>L.A. Chargers: Long Beach Poly High School<\/li>\n<li>L.A. Rams: Long Beach Poly High School (Girls Flag)<\/li>\n<li>Las Vegas Raiders: Bishop Gorman High School (Boys and Girls)<\/li>\n<li>Chicago Bears: Willowbrook High School (Girls Flag)<\/li>\n<li>N.Y. Jets: Irvington High School (Girls Flag)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Nike also said NFL clubs will &#8220;mirror the experience by hosting boys<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">tackle and girls flag games in their home markets.&#8221;\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/usatodayhss.com\/2022\/nfl-nike-high-school-football-kick-off-classic\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Last year, 20 NFL teams<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0took part in this kickoff event.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Ahead of the inaugural kickoff in 2022, NFL vice president of football development Roman Oben spoke to\u00a0<\/span><em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">USA TODAY High School Sports<\/span><\/em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0about the outreach between teams and the community.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8220;In the seven-plus years that I&#8217;ve been in this, I haven&#8217;t seen a greater time where the NFL teams have worked together and worked at being thematically and directionally aligned. The work that we&#8217;ve done with Nike has improved,&#8221; he said at the time. &#8220;When you listen to people and figure out what they really need, it&#8217;s not a logo slap \u2026 It&#8217;s something that everyone&#8217;s engaged in; it gets everyone involved.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">During last year&#8217;s\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/usatodayhss.com\/2022\/nike-hq-hosts-high-school-football-flag-teams-at-hq-for-kickoff-event-with-nfl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">three-day event at Nike headquarters<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, athletes participated in sessions with Nike to provide product insight and social and digital insight. They also gained perspective on life in football and off the gridiron from Bo Jackson, Bobby Taylor and Katie Sowers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">A new group of high school football players will get the opportunity to experience similar this year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8220;For the second year, the Nike Football Kickoff Classic will serve as the official kickoff of high school football around the country,&#8221; Oben said in a press release. &#8220;These games will bring an unimaginable experience for high school football players.
