A dislocated shoulder to lock Josh Aloiai<\/a> added more misery to Manly<\/a>'s Sunday afternoon after the side was handed its third-straight loss against the Sharks<\/a>.<\/p>\n

On the club's Golden Eagles Day and winger Reuben Garrick's 100th match, the Sea Eagles were spirited in an attempted comeback at Brookvale Oval but ultimately fell short with Cronulla<\/a> winning 20-14.<\/p>\n

In the 19th minute, Aloiai attempted to tackle Sharks winger Ronaldo Mulitalo but \ufefffell awkwardly when he slipped out of his grasp. The Manly enforcer then clutched at his shoulder and had to be taken from the field.<\/p>\n

Nine's sideline reporter Emma Lawrence revealed during the match that Aloiai had dislocated his shoulder with medical staff popping it back into place in the sheds.<\/p>\n

Coach Anthony Siebold wasn't definitive on how long the 27-year-old will be out for. \ufeff<\/p>\n

"Not sure, I'll speak to the medical staff, depends how long it took to put it back in, he might need a couple of weeks to strengthen it up," he said at the post-game press conference.<\/p>\n

"(He) may need an operation but I'll speak to the medical staff and see how bad it is but he's no good."<\/p>\n

Aloiai wasn't the only casualty for Manly with second-rower Kelma Tuilagi also suffering a facial injury. \ufeff<\/p>\n

"It looks as though he's going to need a plate inserted into his face, he played with that injury for 30 minutes so it was a brave effort," Seibold said.<\/p>\n

The Sea Eagles day was off to a shocking start when Royce Hunt barged over the line after five minutes to give the Sharks a 6-0 lead.<\/p>\n

Tries kept coming for Cronulla with Sione Katoa scoring before half-time while centre Jesse Ramien was first to strike after the break with the score 20-2 after 50 minutes.<\/p>\n

Manly then came to life when milestone man Reuben Garrick scored in the corner thanks to an exchange of hands. Lachlan Croker then made it 20-14 after 74 minutes when the Bunker ruled in favour of Ashley Klein that the hooker had put the ball down after Daly Cherry-Evans managed to step a number of defenders to set it up.<\/p>\n

Manly couldn't finish the comeback though as the Sharks \ufeffscored its first ever two wins in a row at Brookvale Oval to bounce back from a shocking 36-16 loss to the Dolphins at Magic Round.<\/p>\n

The Sea Eagles play the Raiders next Sunday while the Sharks host Newcastle on Saturday at Coffs Harbour. \ufeff<\/p>\n
