T\ufeffim Tszyu<\/a> has locked in his next opponent as the frustrating wait to fight injured superstar Jermell Charlo<\/a> continues.<\/p>\n

A press conference has been called for Wednesday morning, at which Tszyu will announce a Gold Coast fight with \ufeffMexican challenger Carlos Ocampo, putting the WBO super-welterweight interim world title on the line.<\/p>\n

The fight is expected to be set for June 18.<\/p>\n

The 27-year-old Ocampo has lost just two of his 36 professional fights, both in world title contests against big name fighters.<\/p>\n

His losses came against American star Errol Spence Jr. and Mexican compatriot Sebastian Fundora.<\/p>\n

"I don't need to fight, I want to. I fear no one and will fight anyone," Tszyu said.<\/p>\n

"Carlos Ocampo is the perfect test for me right now as his only losses have been at the very top, for titles against the very best."<\/p>\n

The fight has been chosen by Tszyu's promoter No Limit to keep the Aussie son-of-a-gun active, even though it puts at risk Tszyu's shot at four-belt champion Charlo<\/a>, whose hand injury has postponed their bout indefinitely.<\/p>\n

No Limit CEO George Rose said Tszyu "isn't satisfied" with the prospect of one or two fights per year, which is why they made the fight with Ocampo.<\/p>\n

"So yes, it's another massive risk \u2013 given a shot at Jermell Charlo and becoming undisputed is on the line again \u2013 but he's done it before and we're confident he can do it again," Rose said. <\/p>\n

"He has a world-class Mexican in front of him in Carlos Ocampo in what I expect will be an all-out war, but I'm backing Tim to get the job done in style."\ufeff<\/p>\n
