The chief executive of the Warriors<\/a>' major sponsor has launched an extraordinary attack on NRL<\/a> officials.<\/p>\n

\ufeffJason Paris, who is the CEO of One New Zealand, used his Twitter account on Saturday to essentially accuse on-field and Bunker referees of purposely adjudicating against the Auckland-based team on a regular basis.<\/p>\n

"Are you kidding me?" Paris wrote as\ufeff the Warriors lost 18-6 to Penrith in Magic Round<\/a>.<\/p>\n

"\ufeffHow biased are the NRL Bunker and referees against the Warriors?<\/p>\n

"Have they got money on them to lose? It's like we are permanently against 14 on the field and they want us to play with 12."\ufeff<\/p>\n

He doubled down on the accusations in a follow-up tweet which also referenced Sky Sport NZ commentators., and in a reply to another tweet he said the officiating was "cheating of the highest order".<\/p>\n

The Warriors were contacted by Wide World of Sports but declined to comment on the Paris tweets.\ufeff<\/p>\n

Retired New Zealand hooker Issac Luke also took aim at match officials on Twitter.<\/p>\n

"\ufeffMan NRL straight playing up with some calls in this game," he said.<\/p>\n

The Warriors had two players marched to the sin-bin during the game. Jackson Ford went for a hip-drop tackle, and then Demitric Sifakula for striking Nathan Cleary during a melee.<\/p>\n

Ford was later charged with grade one dangerous contact, but \ufeffSifakula was not charged by the match review committee.<\/p>\n

Warriors coach Andrew Webster was asked about the incidents post-game.\ufeff<\/p>\n

"\ufeffThe Demitric one, I just feel like his hand's open," Webster said of the "strike".<\/p>\n

"\ufeffI feel like he's pushing him in the face. You can see Nathan's face move… then next thing he's in the bin.<\/p>\n

\"Referee<\/p>\n

"The hip-drop, whatever it is, they're tough at the moment. I need to look at that one again."\ufeff<\/p>\n

Warriors captain Tohu Harris was asked about a high shot from Penrith forward Moses Leota, which was not punished with a sin-bin.\ufeff<\/p>\n

"My teammates weren't too happy about it," Harris said.<\/p>\n

"But I didn't even get to see a replay, or what it looked like\ufeff."<\/p>\n

\"NRL<\/p>\n

The coach had to bite his tongue for fear of copping a fine from the NRL for commenting on referee decisions.\ufeff<\/p>\n

"I saw it, yep," Webster said of the Leota shot.<\/p>\n

"I get asked this every week… yeah, I saw that.<\/p>\n

"Things like that, I'm not understanding at the moment."\ufeff<\/p>\n

The penalty count was 5-3 against the Warriors on Saturday.\ufeff<\/p>\n
