Naturally, he’s back in contention for the captaincy and while that may seem like a knee-jerk reaction, he’s actually looked sharp of late, scoring twice against United in the FA Cup and was unfortunate to have his goal at Tottenham ruled out by VAR.
\nThe Reds take on Brighton at home who have kept three clean sheets in a row and are fresh from a victory over Spurs. But the hosts remain clear favourites for this encounter and a couple of goal involvements for Salah seems likely.
