Sydney Roosters<\/a> star Brandon Smith<\/a> was taken to hospital following the Tricolours' gritty 14-0 win over the Warriors<\/a> at Auckland's Mt Smart Stadium on Sunday, NRL.com reports.<\/p>\n

Smith was placed in a neck brace and put on a stretcher in the Roosters' rooms after the game as he was prepared to be transported to hospital.\ufeff<\/p>\n

The Kiwi international sent a scare through the Roosters camp after he left the field late in the second half for a head injury assessment.<\/p>\n

The Roosters told NRL.com the procedure was precautionary after Smith suffered neck pain following the HIA.<\/p>\n

Roosters centre Paul Momirovski<\/a> also came from the field with his arm placed in a makeshift jersey sling after suffering a suspected shoulder injury.<\/p>\n

The action looked \ufeffinnocuous as Momirovski made a regulation tackle, however the 26-year-old immediately showed signs of distress.<\/p>\n

The game was stopped after the subsequent tackle for a Warriors knock-on, allowing Momirovski to be helped from the field by a trainer.<\/p>\n

Speaking post-match, Roosters coach Trent Robinson<\/a> said Momirovski would undergo scans to determine the severity of the damage.<\/p>\n
