Titans<\/a> fullback AJ Brimson was cruelled by his hamstrings for a second time early in the season on Saturday night, leaving him limping from the field as Gold Coast defeated Manly<\/a> at Brookvale Oval.<\/p>\n

After taking a rocketing run and crashing into the Manly defence in the first minute of the second half, Brimson hobbled back to his feet with a stiff left leg, sparking injury fears immediately.<\/p>\n

The 24-year-old didn't return after being assisted from the field, instead watching on with his hamstring strapped with ice as the Titans grinded out a 26-10 win.<\/p>\n

"This is a disaster," said Fox League caller Andrew Voss.<\/p>\n

"That is terrible, terrible luck for AJ, for the Titans and the competition."\ufeff<\/p>\n

While Brimson injured his left hamstring in the Sea Eagles clash, his right hamstring failed him during the Titans' loss to the Cowboys in round four, sidelining him until round eight.<\/p>\n

Foran also injured himself in the game, reaggravating a toe problem, but played the entirety of the match.<\/p>\n

The 2011 Manly premiership-winner met his former club for the first time as a Titan.\ufeff<\/p>\n

The Titans bounced back from Sunday's extraordinary defeat to the Dolphins, which saw them lose 28-26 after racing to a 26-0 lead.<\/p>\n

In the fifth edition of Magic Round, the Sea Eagles will face the Broncos on Friday night and the Titans will take on the Eels on Sunday night.<\/p>\n
