B\ufeffrisbane Broncos<\/a> lock Patrick Carrigan<\/a> has savaged his side's disappointing loss to South Sydney<\/a> after a second half blowout proved costly.<\/p>\n

Playing at Suncorp Stadium, the home side were subject to a Campbell Graham<\/a> \ufeffand Latrell Mitchell<\/a> clinic in a 32-6 defeat.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Nine post-game, Carrigan was highly critical of his team's performance.\ufeff<\/p>\n

"He said stop giving them leg outs (sic) and get smarter, work a bit harder and get into shape a bit earlier and we'd have some joy," he said.<\/p>\n

"We were troubling them a bit earlier and had them on the ropes \ufeffbut we just tried to score of every play and cheap options so it's something that's crippled us the last couple of years and something we've got to keep working on."<\/p>\n

Brisbane noticeably missed star prop Payne Haas, who was suspended for a hip drop tackle on Reagan Campbell-Gillard against the Eels last \ufeffweekend but Carrigan wasn't offering it up as an excuse.<\/p>\n

"You're always going to notice (not having) him, but to be honest we've got a team that can do a job … we've won games without Payne before so that's definitely no excuse," he said.<\/p>\n

"He's a quality player so we're going to love to get him back but we need to be better, it's embarrassing."\ufeff<\/p>\n

It may not be the end of suspension news for the Broncos with Herbie Farnworth put on report and sent to the sin bin for a trip in the second half.<\/p>\n
