T\ufeffom Trbojevic<\/a> will be named in the Manly<\/a> squad for Saturday's clash with the Gold Coast Titans after scans revealed the superstar fullback is only battling a minor adductor injury.<\/p>\n

Late in Manly game's against Wests Tigers on Sunday, the injury-plagued Trbojevic sparked fresh fears when he limped from the field at C\ufeffampbelltown Sports Stadium after suffering a groin injury<\/a>.<\/p>\n

But the club said in a statement on Monday afternoon that the 26-year-old would face the Titans at Brookvale Oval provided he passes a fitness test.<\/p>\n

"In wonderful news for the brilliant No.1 and the Sea Eagles, scans have … confirmed a minor adductor injury," the statement said.<\/p>\n

It's also terrific news for the New South Wales Blues just over a month out from game one of this year's State of Origin series.\ufeff<\/p>\n

Trbojevic and Latrell Mitchell are expected to be picked in the centres for NSW\ufeff, with Blues captain James Tedesco continuing to have a tight grip on the side's No.1 jumper.<\/p>\n

In January, Trbojevic flew to the USA to work with reconditioning guru Bill Knowles<\/a> on his troublesome hamstrings.<\/p>\n

He spent most of the 2019, 2020 and 2022 seasons sidelined with injury, and even missed the first five rounds of 2021, the year he won the Dally M Medal<\/a>.\ufeff<\/p>\n

Trbojevic is contracted to the Sea Eagles until the end of 2026 on a deal reportedly worth $1.1 million per year.<\/p>\n

Anthony Seibold has rejuvenated Manly since filling the void left by Des Hasler's axing<\/a> after last season, leading the Sea Eagles to four wins and a draw from their first seven games.<\/p>\n

Manly is placed second on the ladder with two games remaining in round eight.<\/p>\n
