Punters at the LIV Golf<\/a> event in Adelaide erupted after Chase Koepka hit a hole-in-one on the party hole par-3 12th.<\/p>\n

While several others went close throughout the weekend, Koepka's – brother of Masters runner-up Brooks – wedge shot landed short and rolled straight into the hole.<\/p>\n

The crowd at the 'Watering Hole', perhaps unsurprisingly, went ballistic. Beer cups – only few of them empty – were launched onto the tee box as Koepka celebrated the shot with playing partners Ian Poulter and Paul Casey.<\/p>\n

"That's one of the great moments in LIV Golf history," commentator Arlo White said.<\/p>\n

It's the second ace at LIV Golf events. In typical Aussie fashion, one punter took his shirt off and swung it over his head.<\/p>\n

Ironically, Casey came within millimetres of making an ace on the same hole on Saturday. Part of his ball was literally hanging over the edge of the cup.<\/p>\n

Play was delayed temporarily before Poulter and Casey could take their tee shots as the rubbish was cleaned up.\ufeff<\/strong><\/p>\n

Elsewhere, runaway leader Talor Gooch made back-to-back bogeys after playing the first 42 holes of the tournament without one. Through the first six holes of the day, his lead was halved to five shots.<\/p>\n
