The Eels<\/a> are reeling\ufeff after slumping to their fifth defeat of the season and losing representative front-rower Reagan Campbell-Gillard to injury in agonising scenes.<\/p>\n

Not only did Parramatta suffer a 26-16 loss<\/a> to Brisbane<\/a> in Darwin on Friday night, Campbell-Gillard is expected to be sidelined after doing the splits while being tackled by Payne Haas.<\/p>\n

Haas was not penalised for the tackle, but Paul Gallen asked on Nine's post-game show if it should be considered a hip-drop tackle after another game marred by the ugly move<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Campbell-Gillard stumbled from the field and \ufeffhad to be helped into a seat in the Parramatta sheds by four people.<\/p>\n

"Reagan Campbell-Gillard off with left leg injury," tweeted renowned sports physiotherapist Brien Seeney.<\/p>\n

"Significant stretch mechanism with weight of both tacklers causing wishbone-like effect.<\/p>\n

"Hopefully more hurt than injured, but video brings concern for stretch groin strain\/MCL sprain.<\/p>\n

"Fingers crossed minor in nature."<\/p>\n

Parramatta back-rower J'maine Hopgood and Brisbane five-eighth Ezra Mam were sin-binned for performing hip-drop tackles during the Broncos' win.\ufeff<\/p>\n

"Is that a hip-drop?" Gallen said of Haas' tackle on Campbell-Gillard.<\/p>\n

"He drops his hip, lands on his knee. Is that a hip-drop?<\/p>\n

"Most tackles you could say there's some sort of hip-drop involved.\ufeff<\/p>\n

"That one's an accident … Can you penalise someone for that and charge someone for a hip-drop with that tackle? I don't think so."<\/p>\n

Gallen grimaced as vision rolled through of Campbell-Gillard being helped into a chair in the Parramatta sheds.\ufeff<\/p>\n

"He looks in some pain there," Gallen said.<\/p>\n

"That's not good."\ufeff<\/p>\n
