Suliasi Vunivalu's<\/a> eyes were like "dinner plates", according to former Australian international Justin Harrison, after he was singled out by coach Eddie Jones<\/a> at the recent Wallabies<\/a> camp.<\/p>\n

Jones came to the first all-in meeting with a bright orange cattle prod before asking "Where's Suli?" apparently keen to prod him for a joke the Reds star had made about him.<\/p>\n

Leading up to the Sanctuary Cove camp, there was plenty of nervous tension in the squad.\u00a0<\/p>\n

"I felt like I was going to see the headmaster again at school," said Harrison speaking on Stan Sport's latest Rugby Heaven<\/a> episode.<\/p>\n

"There were a lot of boys up there getting to know the real Eddie Jones having made jokes about his presence and his attitude to people.\u00a0<\/p>\n

"I think he walked into that first team meeting with a cattle prod and then asked where Vunivalu is.\u00a0<\/p>\n

"He wanted to give him the electric cattle prod shock because he'd made a bit of a joke about it during the year.\u00a0<\/p>\n

"It wasn't a joke, he had an actual cattle prod there. Vunivalu's eyes \u2013 dinner plates after that.\u00a0<\/p>\n

"I tell you what, he moved pretty quick that afternoon. There was no ropey hamstring that afternoon.<\/p>\n

"Eddie is an automatic 'sir', an automatic respect even 20 years later," he added.<\/p>\n

"It was; you make sure you're on time. We had a meeting with him in the night and it was like 'We've got to go' because you want to be early.\u00a0<\/p>\n

"Even Greegs (George Gregan) turned up with a notepad and pen."<\/p>\n

Another former Australian international, Morgan Turinui, said players relished their first opportunity to work with the imposing coach.<\/p>\n

Even in the short time on the sidelines, Turinui said he saw a shift in approach.<\/p>\n

"They saw good Eddie too," said Turinui.<\/p>\n

\"Tim<\/p>\n

"He was sort of nice Eddie, good Eddie. It was Christmas Eve Eddie.\u00a0<\/p>\n

"Also, remember the coaches, especially Eddie and Brett Hodgson, our new defence coach, they're excited to get their hands on players to get some sessions done.\u00a0<\/p>\n

"We saw the seven guys ruled out before because they wanted a full 15 on each side to train, so they did some solid training, installed a lot attack stuff.\u00a0<\/p>\n

"I think you'll see the Wallabies play a little bit more out of structure, look to play a little bit more heads up in inverted commas, and then they were installing some defence stuff as well."<\/p>\n

The trial gave Jones his first opportunity outside of Super Rugby Pacific to pit players against each other.<\/p>\n

Jones gave a nod to his predecessor for laying the foundations ahead of the Rugby World Cup.<\/p>\n

"Really positive, mate," Jones told Stan Sport's\u00a0Tim Horan.<\/p>\n

"We've always said there is a lot of talent here. We think there is.\u00a0<\/p>\n

"Dave Rennie has done a really good job in establishing the base of the team and now it's the responsibility of the team to take that forward."<\/p>\n

Jones said he's been impressed by Carter Gordon and Brad Wilkin as well as teen sensation Max Jorgensen.\u00a0<\/p>\n
