Chelsea<\/a> Women coach Emma Hayes has called Sam Kerr<\/a> the best striker in the world after the Matildas captain notched a goal to send the Blues to the FA Cup final<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The sole goal-scorer, Kerr's second-half header drove \ufeffChelsea to a 1-0 victory over Aston Villa in the FA Cup semi final on Sunday.<\/p>\n

The win sets the stage for the Blues' third consecutive \ufeffWembley showpiece.<\/p>\n

In the \ufeff59th minute, Kerr broke the deadlock with a trademark header from close range.<\/p>\n

Taking advantage of Guro Reiten's cross, Kerr's header sailed past goalkeeper Hannah Hampton and into the bottom right corner of the net.\ufeff<\/p>\n

Speaking post-match, \ufeffHayes was full of admiration for Kerr's performance, dubbing her the finest striker in the world.<\/p>\n

"We can talk all day about the millions of things we can improve, but I would rather have the most efficient player in the world than someone who has a million chances. It's unbelievable," she said.<\/p>\n

"I have never seen a centre-forward move as much as her. It's not a single movement, it's a double movement.<\/p>\n

She is infectious. I don't know a striker in world football who can do what she does. She's the best."<\/p>\n

The performance comes after Kerr headlined Australia's 2-0 win over England<\/a> on Wednesday, finishing with a goal and an assist.<\/p>\n

Chelsea will now face Manchester United in \ufeffnext month's decider.<\/p>\n
