Karachi: Centurion Fawad Alam has stated that he has no regrets about missing 10 years of international Test cricket as he now only looks forward to doing wonders for Pakistan.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 35-year-old Fawad scored 109 off 245 balls, which included nine fours and two sixes. He rescued Pakistan after they were struggling at 33\/4 at the start of the second day\u2019s play.<\/p>\n

“My aim has always been to avail the opportunities. I always prayed to Allah to give that is better for me and was waiting for my time,” Fawad said in a post-day virtual presser.<\/p>\n

“I don’t think like that (10 years have been wasted) because If I would, the number of runs I made in domestic cricket and piled up records couldn’t have been possible,” he added.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, Fawad praised team management for awarding him the opportunities after he failed in two innings in England.<\/p>\n

“Team management encouraged and believed in my potential. They are supporting me and that confidence has allowed me to do well in the middle. Misbah Bhai said that I know you will do it and I have full faith in you.” he added.<\/p>\n
