The NRL Integrity Unit has confirmed it is investigating a fight filmed on a Cronulla street on Friday night.<\/p>\n
Nine News can confirm Dragons player Corey Norman is under investigation over the alleged incident.<\/p>\n
"The NRL Integrity Unit is aware of the video and is investigating the matter," an NRL spokesman said.<\/p>\n
Former NRL star James Segeyaro was also allegedly involved in the altercation.<\/p>\n

Norman is one of the Dragons' highest-paid stars and is entering the final year of his contract with the Red V.<\/p>\n
"The St George Illawarra Dragons are aware that Corey Norman was involved in an altercation on Friday night in Cronulla," A Dragons club statement read.<\/p>\n
"The Dragons are working with Corey and the NRL Integrity Unit to establish the facts around the matter."<\/p>\n
Both Norman and Segeyaro are business partners in a clothing company called YKTR\u2013 which stands for "you know the rules".<\/p>\n

The company released a statement via Instagram, with Segeyaro also posting the message to his personal account. <\/p>\n
"Before the media have the opportunity to do their thing, we wanted to be fully transparent," the statement read. <\/p>\n
"Here's what happened: The two boys were walking home after a dinner with two females, when they were approached by a group of four men.\n<\/p>\n
"One of whom began to racially abuse Chicko (Segeyaro's nickname), calling him the N word. An argument ensued and Corey came in to defuse the situation.\n<\/p>\n
"He was then blindsided and a fight broke out. It had all broken up when one of them threatened to pull a knife.\n<\/p>\n
"As individuals and as a brand we will always stand up against racism. Corey let his club know the next morning and we have been in touch with the RLPA regarding the incident."<\/p>\n
