The son of former NRL<\/a> player Brad Drew has broken into the A-League<\/a> – and has his sights set on the English Premier League.<\/p>\n

Jed Drew has played 10 of the 11 games so far this season for Dwight Yorke's Macarthur FC, impressing on the wing.<\/p>\n

"He's only 19 and still learning but he is keen and loving it," said Brad, a hooker for Parramatta and Penrith in the 1990s and early 2000s who played over 250 games in Australia and England.<\/p>\n

"I finished my league career in England and Jed grew up there, and that's where he got his love for soccer.<\/p>\n

\"Jed<\/p>\n

"He went back there with the Australian Schoolboys a couple of years ago and got a couple of nibbles from European clubs.<\/p>\n

"Once he gets a bit more experience in the A-League it's something we may look at.<\/p>\n

"Dwight is an attacking coach so Jed loves the way he runs the team and hopefully he will keep developing.<\/p>\n

"This is his first full season and he is improving all the time."<\/p>\n

Jed made his debut as an 18-year-old last year and has been a permanent fixture in the Macarthur team ever since.<\/p>\n
