The Sydney Thunder<\/a> have terminated the contract of bowler Fazalhaq Farooqi.<\/p>\n

The club received a complaint about Farooqi's behaviour last Thursday and referred the incident to Cricket Australia<\/a>'s integrity unit for investigation.<\/p>\n

The inquiry is now complete and the Thunder have decided to terminate Farooqi's contract with the support of Cricket Australia.<\/p>\n

"\ufeffThe details of this matter are confidential and no further comment will be made," Cricket Australia said in a statement on Friday.<\/p>\n

"The behaviours displayed by Fazalhaq Farooqi sit outside our values and it was determined that his contract be terminated," said Cricket NSW chief executive Lee Germon.<\/p>\n

"Our focus now is providing the necessary support to those affected by this incident."<\/p>\n

The incident occurred one day before the Thunder were all out for 15 against the Strikers<\/a> at Sydney Olympic Park.<\/p>\n
