Australian goalkeeper Mat Ryan has signed with Arsenal on loan for the remainder of the English Premier League season.<\/p>\n
The shock move has come in the wake of Ryan losing the chief goalkeeping spot at Brighton and Hove Albion to Robert Sanchez.<\/p>\n
Ryan was unseated from the primary goalkeeping position despite having signed a deal with Brighton worth more than $9 million in 2017.<\/p>\n
However, that relegation means the 28-year-old has landed at the club he supported as a kid.<\/p>\n
Arsenal's technical director Edu Gaspar praised Ryan as a terrific signing.<\/p>\n
