Adelaide<\/a> captain Chelsea Randall has taken aim at the AFLW<\/a>'s concussion protocols after she was ruled out of this week's semi final.<\/p>\n

Randall should be leading the Crows\ufeff out against Collingwood in the season's penultimate round, hoping to reach the decider.<\/p>\n

But she will instead be forced to watch on from the sidelines after the league intervened to rule her physically unfit to play.<\/p>\n

Randall suffered a head knock during last week's game, but \ufeffwas passed fit by club doctors and was told she would be able to play in the semis.<\/p>\n

But new vision made its way to AFL headquarters, where a decision was made to rule Randall out under the concussion protocols.\ufeff<\/p>\n

Randall also missed the 2021 AFLW grand final following a concussion.\ufeff<\/p>\n

"\ufeffIt is frustrating, and I'm disappointed," Randall said on Thursday.<\/p>\n

"\ufeffAround the system and the process in place because, clinically, I was cleared of all of that, and I only found out late last night that the story had changed.<\/p>\n

"If I had the same knock at training, we wouldn't have vision, and I'd have a clinical assessment and I'd be playing this weekend.<\/p>\n

"Unfortunately \ufeffit means with this process, some players who aren't concussed will miss games."<\/p>\n

The Crows and Magpies face off on Saturday afternoon, following Richmond and North Melbourne.<\/p>\n
