(Photo by Stu Forster\/Getty Images)\" data-width=\"4237\" data-height=\"2383\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&quot;I say a bit of a glimpse because we have still got more in us, we are going to be better and we are going to improve off the back of that.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>Tonga went deep in the 2017 World Cup, falling agonisingly short of an appearance in the final after three late tries saw them go down to England 20-18 at Mount Smart Stadium in the semi-final.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;We&#x27;ve got through those early games. (Photo by George Wood\/Getty Images for RLWC)\" data-width=\"3266\" data-height=\"2177\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Tonga opened the scoring in the first minute of the match, through Roosters star Daniel Tupou, and from there it was all one-way traffic.<\/p>\n<p>Fullback Tesi Niu scored three and an assist, while Tuimoala Lolohea, Tupou, and Jason Taumalolo all scored doubles. The radar on Isaiya Katoa&#x27;s boot was calibrated perfectly, kicking 14 from 16.<\/p>\n<p>Cook Islands coach Tony Iro said his side &quot;didn&#x27;t turn up&quot;.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;It was very disappointing. I thought we competed really well our last two games and I didn&#x27;t see that coming to be honest,&quot; he said.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Apologies to our supporters and fans, it wasn&#x27;t acceptable.
