T\ufeffyrone Peachey<\/a> has secured a fairytale homecoming to Penrith<\/a>, re-joining the club four years after leaving for the Gold Coast Titans.<\/p>\n

The 31-year-old re-joins the Panthers on a one-year deal, with Charlie Staines granted an immediate release to join the Wests Tigers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Peachey played his best football with the Panthers, notching all three of his State of Origin appearances for New South Wales during the 2018 season.<\/p>\n

The versatile veteran played 109 games and scored 40 tries for the Panthers between 2014-18 after beginning his career with the Cronulla Sharks in 2013.<\/p>\n

Peachey left the Panthers for a lucrative offer from the Titans, but failed to find his best football up north, managing just eight tries in 63 appearances for the club between 2019 and 2021.<\/p>\n

He joined the Tigers in 2022 and made 13 appearances, scoring one try.<\/p>\n

\ufeff"I look forward to welcoming Tyrone and his family back home to Panthers for the 2023 NRL season," Panthers CEO Matt Cameron said in a club statement on Friday.<\/p>\n

"It's great to have Tyrone's experience and versatility as part of our club, and we believe he can flourish in the Panthers environment."<\/p>\n

Cameron also thanked Staines for his contribution to the club after scoring 23 tries in 39 appearances for Penrith between 2020-22.<\/p>\n
